The C-40D adopts a 2-axis mechanical stabilization structure with high-torque brushless motors. Combined with IMU temperature control and carrier AHRS fusion technology, it achieves stabilization accuracy of ±0.05°. Even under extreme conditions such as aggressive aircraft maneuvers and high-speed air impact, it maintains stable footage and ensures image quality.
Multi-Protocol Control with Secondary Development Support
The C-40D supports multiple control methods, including Headtracker direct control, UART (private protocol and MAVLink), S.BUS, CRSF, and PWM. It is compatible with most mainstream autopilots, including ArduPilot and PX4, providing flexible control interfaces for secondary development.

The C-40D offers six operating modes: FPV, Pitch Lock, Horizon Angle Control, Horizon Rate Control, Return-to-Center, and OrthoView (Look-Down). It also supports parameter configuration, channel mapping, and gain tuning. When paired with the Xianfei Headtracker, the C-40D delivers an immersive, high-quality first-person control experience. The gimbal can be pointed with natural head movements, greatly enhancing the efficiency and experience of aerial photography and inspection operations.
Flexible Mounting for Diverse Applications
The C-40D supports both downward and upward mounting, making it adaptable to a variety of UAV platforms, including multi-rotors, fixed-wing aircraft, and VTOL fixed-wing aircraft, as well as quadruped robots and RC cars.
